"Those With Eyes To See "[Photographic Communication #5] [Photo Index # 3: 5 ]  [Community Contribution Set Of Poems]

In making pictures, take their point of view –
Communicate perspective that’s in you,
But from a place where they can re-construct
The world they’re in, beyond the odds of luck.

First, think of them like kids in class at school –
You know their minds think different things are cool,
So teach them math or Spirit’s concepts new –
Get in their heads, take on their point of view.

It’s all about their pain, catharsis, hope;
Not yours at all – they’re dangling on some rope;
They seek relief – “Is this just all there is?”
They simply ask – informing them’s your biz.

This cultured world affects how people see –
Environment entraps or sets them free;
When people shown in photos are from there,
They hear your words – find freedom from despair.

A lot is known of ways we look at pix –
Where eyes go first – that known, there’s lots of tricks
To lead folks in to depths they’ve never known;
So fast it is – so message finds a home.

You’re in your pix, and those with eyes to see
Will know your heart, how faith-less it can be;
The pictured world, and that of Photoshop,
Are read each day promoting stores and shops.

That’s how we learn – the best techniques are seen
In ads, and art on Internet – it seems
That all the world’s depicted somewhere well –
With camera, Christ’s words can demons fell.

Thanks Lord for this
