"Sun Tsu's Lines " (I Cor.15:24-28) (Ephesians 6:16-20)

The Sun Tzu lines, for what they’re worth, are not for business use;
They’re more about Christ’s warfare – stopping evil-one’s abuse;
It’s not they don’t apply out there in cash-and-carry land,
It’s more they play a larger part in helping understand –

A bigger picture than the one we see from day to day,
As we go shopping, sell our wares, do work, take time to play;
As we consider Christ, whose task is cleaning up the mess,
We realize He calls to us to aid in His success.

O Heavenly Father, as we join You on this Kingdom-layer,
We’re grateful you’ve involved us in such intercessory prayer –
To give ourselves to You to use as Jesus would see fit,
Is call beyond our wildest dreams – were thrilled the because of it.

To rise each day, put armor on, form up for reveille;
To be assigned some “this or that”, then play some part with Thee,
Is thrilling – we “Cathedral build”, far more than “laying stone”;
For what we build in You, this day, is done before the throne.

Lord Jesus may I rise up to each task You have in mind;
May I abide in You this day, thus satisfaction find;
For deepest longings of my heart – Your heart for all the globe –
That when this day shall be complete, the Victor’s crown we’ll hold.

O Holy Spirit, guiding us, bring insight, comfort, strength;
Enthuse us with Your zest for life that we might run full-length
Of a race that lies before us now, as we conform to Christ
Empowered to rise up on wings – Your Spirit does suffice.

Grant us discernment how to hear Sun Tzu – such questions ask,
As “What is this sick version of, which world discerns as task
Which it must do to win some fight, which leaves them on the top
Of mountain called ‘success for me as I o’er others walk?’”

I thank You, Lord, you’ve helped me see at last where he fits in;
Then indicated task ahead, which I can now begin,
And all the while avoid the parts of work which useless are,
So we can move effectively, efficiently, by Gar.

Thanks Lord for this.
