"The Shift To Black And White"

I’ll never be as black and white
As are perceivers – black as night
Is darker side of life they know,
And white forms moral compass – so –

They hold aloft that Northern Star
They see so well, shows where they are –
Not just for them and those they know,
But all of us – we know it’s so.

I live in land of shades of gray;
So frequently I lose my way;
Perceivers clarify, as well,
They answer questions, truth they tell.

I find I’m shifting off the grays;
Perceiver-light now sheds its rays;
I saw before, but had to dance
’Round obstacles and people’s rants.

It’s now no problem, way is clear
On acetate, so things appear
Below me, I can skate around
The ice, not hampered on the ground.

That’s such relief, O Lord, to us;
We live the gospel, skip the fuss;
Live and let live – much better here
Up on this Kingdom-layer clear.

Thanks Lord for this.
