"De-fragging"
I’m cleaning up my old machine,
“De-fragmenting” is what I mean;
Consolidating program parts,
And filling gaps for better starts.That’s like my life when thoughts emerge –
It takes a while for them to merge
With older wine, and older cloth;
For in the potholes they get lost.Right now my mind says, “Hold! Enough!
While I defrag – for it is tough
To live that new part, ‘Kingdom-layer’
Until I’ve shifted trash from there.”So I must patient be – machines
Take time to work, and time to clean;
So too my mind needs time to grow,
But first defragging task must go.Thanks Lord for this.
