"Choice" (Matt.7:13-23)
The question that arises now for me –
“ On Kingdom-layer – are we now push-back free?”
Of course we’re not, but it’s all different now;
Agenda’s changed – “Thy will, not mine’s the how”.It was that way for all this journey, yes,
But now the Kingdom road above’s the best,
For it exists above the mean and mean;
Two ditches, and the Kingdom way’s between.Still we must walk, choose paths, and gates, and trees;
Foundation types select, lest we release
The edifice when floods and torrents later come;
But in such life from foes we need not run.For we have chosen, taken paths, and walked
Through narrow gates, become that tree where talk
Is good not bad, foundation solid laid;
First move for us? On Kingdom-layer stayed.That walk of faith is counted righteousness,
Like Abraham’s once angels did address
His situation – old without an heir –
Stepped to the plate, found life renewed right there.So Lord, today, prosperity comes next;
How we do life – “Of world” or “Righteousness”?
Defined as walk of faith on Kingdom-layer,
This shifts to life in You of constant prayer.We’ve joined Your team, Your will we’ve made our own;
Concern for others, lived at work at home,
In ways you choose, direct, or indirect;
As You press on to train up Your “elect”.Not all will choose, though all will have the choice
To Kingdom take in heart, and soul, and voice;
Two parts remain – make choice and live that out –
Of Kingdom-layer, for me there’s no more doubt.So Lord, today, pre-dawn, my opening prayer –
Help me to stay in You, on Kingdom-layer;
Your will, not mine be done this day up here,
As You, through me, each person’s choice make clear.Thanks Lord for this.
