"Kingdom Level Photography" [Module#453] (John 20:1; Matt.28:1; Mark 16:1; Luke 20:1)
Photography I’m seeing now is not unreal but real;
It’s new perspective from above has now a Kingdom-feel;
A Kingdom feel? Why yes, it has a universal tone,
And views the Kingdom of our God as basis of our home.The women came to do their tasks of burial that day;
They worried ’bout the barriers, but stone was rolled away;
For me that is a bit like life up on Kingdom-plain
For now I find all barriers are only there in name.So what have you received from God, convinced of that in prayer?
Just ask for it and it is yours, to what can that compare?
What are you willing that I do, in which you play a part?
Request that also, Jesus says, and He will that impart.The Kingdom’s like a precious pearl for which all else is left;
Like treasure found in field one day which we cannot forget;
All else falls back now in my life – at this point I would say,
It’s all I want to do right now – to go to folks each day –And ask if they’re aware there is a Kingdom-layer in life,
Where obstacles just melt away; we’re lifted over strife;
If they don’t know, then do my best to let them know with glee,
The best is yet to come for them, just as it’s been for me.Lord, as I move along from here, perhaps photography
Will play some role in Kingdom-work, or even it might be
The best thing I have ever done, but from this place on high,
I do not care one whit for it – I’d rather let it lie –Unused, untapped, upon my shelf with so much else as well;
It’s been a part of life so much and that has all been swell;
But in the time which I have left, it’s no priority,
For Kingdom is top-shelf for me – how it has set me free!Lord, thanks for letting pix abide within my repertoire
Of tools, and ways of doing life, perhaps there will be more;
But really I don’t care to push it much beyond this point –
I’d rather do Your Kingdom-life – I’d like to blow this joint.I see potential in the church – they fritter it away;
I long to help them fix that up, from Kingdom-layer say,
“Come on you guys, let’s move along, enough of this, okay?
We’re Kingdom-kids, Christ’s brothers here – come on, let’s lead the way.Thanks Lord for this.
