"Shift To Friend" [Module#422] (John 15:14-15)
A friend it seems knows actions of the Master of the house;
A servant merely cooks and cleans, stays quiet as a mouse;
A shift takes place once He has told you everything that counts –
From servant to a friend of His, no matter what amount.It may be large, it may be small, what matters most of all,
Is that He shares His heart with you and tells you things at all;
It’s mentoring He’s done for us, ’till mentors mentor more,
Which takes us farther up the ramp, which mentoring is for.On Kingdom-layer the way of prayer for me is “interact” –
“Receive a PO parcel? Then just ask for it intact”;
“What are you active-willing that I do for you, My friend?”
Well, answer, then just work it out, your skills and giftings blend –With His and Spirit’s energy; do this and that as asked;
Be sure to bring your popcorn, watch Him act, as it’s a blast;
For Works of Power directly done, in mediated form,
Both have effect, beyond our means, as we watch Kingdom come.Thanks Lord for this.
