At midpoint in the river ford,
A question rises, as here, Lord –
Continue on to other side?
Or go back home, yield to the tide?Disciples hit that point right here;
When Judas balked, he made it clear,
To carry on would be to him
Too deep by far for him to swim.“Because I live, you will live too”,
You said at this sharp end to school;
“From now on you must activate
The Kingdom-life, for Goodness’ sake.”So too for us, will we press on
To further bank, so far beyond
Where we have ever gone before?
Lord, be with us forever more.Thanks Lord for this.
