"Our 'Why?'" [Module#393]  (Luke 22:30-34; John 13:36-38)

Part of reading people is to ascertain their “why”;
See if it is strong or weak, and if for it they’ll die;
If it’s strong, go somewhere else, there’s too much trouble there –
Go where why is weakest, their resistance is hot air.

Even though we soon find out we’re not that much ahead,
When our “why” is strong folks find they’re well and ably led;
Let your light shine out, and help the others shine out too;
Don’t blow out their candles – weaker why’s were just like you.

When your why is strong you can put up with lumpy roads;
Let your faith be stretched ’till you can face unnumbered foes;
When you get your quest results – whatever you have sought –
Plug it in and turn it on, let past times be forgot.

If you do not have a why, make finding it your goal;
Knowing why is critical to standing ’gainst the foe;
Now I have my “why” intact the rest just washes by,
And I have life-focus, it’s described, in short, by “why”.

Thanks Lord for this.
