"As With Noah" [Module#350] (Matt.24:37-41)
We need a “Kingdom layer”, an “ark”,
Which Father knew as He embarked
On making man as free and clear
Of trouble which soon would be near.Regardless of our stance in life,
Folks all around who dwell in night,
Say “No, you can’t do this or that”,
But ark or Kingdom tackle that.As place high up above the flood,
As Kingdom-layer from which to love
The folks around and down below –
Full freedom ours to come and go.For change that’s deep is slow to fix
Itself in lives – we’re such a mix
Of good and bad, all twisted in
Like tangled yarn when we begin –Our adult lives; to play our parts;
To choose our tasks; and give our hearts
To ones we love, both spouse and kids,
So ark is nice here in our midst.The Hutterites view colony
As “ark” for them – the world’s at sea;
That’s close, but Kingdom’s here for all
Since Adam’s apple at the fall.Now Christ is Lord of Kingdom-layer;
We’re freed in Him through daily prayer
To interact, move on indeed,
Above, yet in this world of need.Thanks Lord for this.
