"Resource" [Module #315] (Matt. 23:13-31)
If we are to be resourced, for task Christ has in mind,
We need the understandings which cling to these each time;
Each task has given resource, but access is the key,
Without it we’ll be starving, midst plenty we can see.For me it took extended traumatic whirly ride,
For God to get my head ’round what was right by my side –
Like gifts, and wish-list (hungers), third-culture-kids, and such,
Now “Kingdom-layer provided, thus raised above the muck.From faith to faith He grows us, then we “recalculate”;
At which our understanding expands from good to great;
At “call” I knew of nothing, (enough to opt into
A journey You created, to lead me home to You).Now I’m released to living here on Your Kingdom-layer;
Now I am released to doing my “this and that” as player;
Oh Jubilee! What freedom I find in front of me –
Rejoicing in Your kindness, in drawing me to Thee.Thanks Lord for this.
