“Cash For Kingdom Life”
What’s best to do when cash comes in –
When business, life, at last begins?
O Lord, I thank You for Your cash
Thanks that, life here begins at last.Lord, Kingdom-life is something else,
As we move on, get off the shelf –
But I’m not sure how this all flows
As cash comes in, ’fore out it goes.“Stability is key for all;
Things rocky are since Adam’s fall,
But you don’t live there anymore,
It’s not the same here as before –“For now you live the Kingdom-life
On Kingdom-plain – with sons and wife,
Each needing to opt in themselves;
You’ve shifted from that living hell –“Of tossed about, blocked in – now be
Yourself, and interact with Me;
You’re copied, so it matters how
This all is done – as I allow.“Discipling will be central here;
You’ve much to learn – what all appears
Is second-rate; it’s quality
I’m into here – lived out in me.”That’s twice, O Lord, of Caesar’s coin,
Of Caesar’s image – you have warned –
That we pay tax on his cash-flow,
But give ourselves to God – then know –This life up here on acetate;
That we can now participate
In Kingdom-life – so good indeed,
As we’re freed up to meet Your need –For getting folks to Kingdom life;
Relieving each from daily strife –
“The funds enable you to do
My Kingdom-work with them, through you.”Okay, Lord, thanks for this.
