"Divergent Roads" [Module #329] (Matt. 24:3 )
As roads diverge for all some time ahead,
Where some live on while others will be dead;
Concerns about to the long-term state of things
Arise as these events disquiet brings.The end for each will come at different times,
Which means the rest survive, move down the line;
If all went fast, just like the dinosaur,
That would be it, of light there’d be no more.Like when you died, at Easter rose again –
That was Your journey – cross, inflicted pain;
But if your men had perished on that day,
You would have risen – with no one there to say –To them, “Go into world”; “Don’t be afraid”;
“Disciple those you meet, the friends you’ve made”
“All will be well, I’ll meet you, for the plane
Of Kingdom-life with Me, is still the same”.Lord, as we too near ending of our lives,
A time of parting comes for husbands, wives,
And friends, until one day we meet again;
’Till then we live and work on Kingdom-plane.The little splits are neither here nor there;
Our deaths a blip, a focus of brief prayer;
Then life goes on, but in between I find
We’ve Kingdom-life in You which is sublime.Thanks Lord for this.
