"Almost" [Module #309] (Mark 12:28-34)
The door was open each to each;
In conversation learner reached
Into Christ’s mind, and heart, and soul,
And strength, as he grasped for his goal.“Perfection in compliance” was
The learner’s stance – he asked because
He wanted what he saw as good,
So asked of Jesus daily food.So Jesus took him half the way –
“Obedience to God” held sway
By far o’er sacrificial lamb –
“Jesus is Lord” – God’s Kingdom can –Be place of refuge as you grow,
Put into practice what you know;
Left door wide open so when shift
Occurs there’s place to go – so lift –Up into Kingdom layer to be
Takes place, by grace, so we’re set free
To move unhindered by the blocks
Thrown up by worldly acts and talk.“Not far from Kingdom” – what say ye?
How can such answer helpful be?
Why, letting go of second rate,
And grasping half outside the gate.Just try to live that out on earth,
And you’ll have people toss up dirt
And rocks into some barrier
To moving forward – that’s for sure.And then you’re ready for the rest –
A rest indeed – as Kingdom’s blessed
For hop up on the Kingdom-layer
In freedom now, you’re Kingdom player.Thanks Lord for this.
