“Justice And Faith” [Module #223] (Luke 18:8)

Justice and faith are two sides of a coin,
God brings the justice to which faith is joined;
Faith of our fathers and mothers each day,
Exercised by us – our trust in His Way.

If we don’t have it, we freak out and run;
Trusting in others is not all that fun;
Loving them (working that they might have life),
Works – they can’t stop us – and life flips up right.

Trusting in Jesus, as songs put it well,
Saves us from doing our journey in hell –
Not just hereafter, but riding along
Up on his shoulders, and joining in song.

Putting reliance on God as the one
Who has invented us, made us for fun;
Not as some grim reaper biding his time,
Keen to get at whuping your ass and mine.

He sees big picture, provides Spirit-guide;
Hope is that all in His love will abide;
But we have freedom, how He set things up –
We can have friendship with Him, even love.

He’s given “allergy”, kept us apart,
Lest we get good at (much more at the start),
Trashing environment down in our greed;
Stepping on others ’neath banner of need.

But when He’s let in to guide in our way,
Allergies dissipate, fears are allayed,
That gives Him room to bring justice to fore,
Faith on our part helps to justice restore.

Lord keep us faithful this day in Your love;
Keep us from slipping to world’s push and shove;
Help us allay people’s fears in this life;
Make room for justice for all, not just strife.

Thanks Lord for this.
