“Who’ll Go?"  [Module #188] (Luke 12:42)

“Whom shall I send? And who will go for Me?
You asked through him, through him I came to see
A bigger picture, scene with endless view –
Who then indeed? And will I go for You?

The years flow by, so slowly I catch on –
We do our best, and then our strength is gone;
You are so patient, Lord, with our slow walk –
Seven billion souls, content we are with talk.

And yet You use capacity to speak,
To spread Your word, creation’s vision keep;
You spoke that we might have created form –
Lord speak through us, Your Spirit be the norm.

You cleansed his mouth with brand of coals that day;
Clean Thou my tongue, from lips drive dross away;
I walk this earth confused, and yet in You
I find a way, laid out with wider view.

Grace those through me whom You would touch today;
Give me Your words for each, and grant that they
Might come to You, connection thus be found;
Grant, O my Lord, Your peace in world around.

Thanks Lord for this.
