"You In This Too?" [Module #183] (Luke 12:42ff)
Don’t think He’ll bring both halves, He won’t,
First half is yours, you guys;
Mix that with part He gives to us,
You’ll end up being wise.Not rich, perhaps, that’s not the point,
Though nothing wrong with cash;
It’s just you need to mix it up
With goodies from your stash.That is the point of tree which grows
There by the passing stream –
It draws resource to make its fruit,
As part of larger team.Our “this and that”, both cheap and dear,
Lets Christ lift heavy load;
We do our parts in Him so we
Can with Him forward go.Where there was once “no way” for us,
A way is made in Him;
He feeds us with His living bread,
In Him our lives begin.So Lord, as we start out this day,
This week, to live in You,
Show us what You desire from us,
That You our work might do.Thanks Lord for this.
