"...And After That Can Do No More..." [Module#162] (Luke 12:4)

In “middle voice” a life has opened up,
Which might seem strange, at times seem even tough;
But in this way, not “passive” like the Cree,
Or “active” like society you see –

A way of walking comes to life in You,
With power now, with Spirit now imbued –
Where will, and power, and resource now match up
With those of God – for life, more than enough.

To me Your comment, Lord, made on that day,
Frees up my mind, in it I hear you say –
Just make this choice, of other road’s steer clear;
You need not live your life imbued with fear.

For acts of man are for the present time;
They’re good or bad – a mix most of the time;
But then comes death, both parts come to an end;
In God they don’t – bad’s stripped as we ascend.

As for the rest, ignore it, free’s the choice
For all of us; of course employ your voice;
Augmented text articulates this fact,
But in the end they choose to speak and act –

The way they want – rough world indeed it is,
But rougher yet, hereafter – that’s their biz;
It’s hard enough to do our lives on earth
Assisted by the rest with second birth.

Thanks Lord for this, as I start out this week
In You today, help me Your way to keep
Between two ditches, both are second rate –
Insights galore – help me Your way to take.

Thanks Lord for this.
