"Things New And Old" [ Module #128] (Luke 10: 22-28) (Sept/28/14)
“Do this and you will live”, Christ said,
“If not, in Scripture you have read,
Life stops – now and eternally –
The choice is now, for now you see.”Lord that’s the new amidst the old,
And old in new as we’ve been told –
Our wish-list base, by You fulfilled;
The prophets and the law distilled.And that You said on heading south,
Last words which flowed to north from mouth
They oft despised, but some caught on,
And with those words you all were gone.Next time You breathed that northern air,
Was when You rose ’midst their despair,
And ate that fish along the shore,
And gathered group to live some more.Thanks Lord for this.
