"Take Your Time"  [Module # 104] (John 8: 2-11)

Take your time in answering,
By writing on the ground;
Interactive prayer is good
Where guidance can be found.

When pressure mounts before it’s time
To face what is to come,
Just take your time responding, ’till
Such moments are all done.

For while you bide in heaven’s time,
Things work out in His plan;
And mini-crises fade away,
With mini-battles won.

So don’t freak out, abide in Him,
Give God some room to move;
Do “this and that” as He directs,
His long-term plan He’ll prove.

Lord, as I face the day ahead,
Ten days of project plan,
Help me to focus in this way,
Your tempo understand.

It freaks me out, outside of You,
And makes my blood run cold;
To think “this is the end at last”,
Leaves me no longer bold.

“Pull back to Zorro’s circle, Stu,
Your three-foot TCK,
As point of view in all you do
And I’ll show you the way –

To make responses as they come,
And meet you where you are;
Your ‘writing doodles on the ground’
More potent is by far –

“Then anything that you could do
To give a good response;
Abide in me, I’ll show the way,
Removing them at once.”

Thanks Lord, for this.
