The fantasy, for those who live within society
We have here in this frozen northern land,
Is lottery will fall to us – and doing so, will
Open to us finally the chance to be acknowledged
As acceptable – despite the fact our values
Clash, and there is just no way.For rules there are (exceptions for their friends),
Which bend and shift to meet the ever-changing
Needs for purity of caste.But fed we are a line that we might
Be indeed the lucky winners – and that all
The rest will follow “if indeed it does
Exist at all”, they say.But not so, Christ.
For He has simply said, opt in, if in you want, for
Access takes the same amount of will as they demand
Of you in picking up your chit.No fantasy – but freedom now to walk within
Their sin-embedded systems with a laugh –And freedom to be Spirit-walkers, growing daily
In the ways of God – and all the while
Enjoying rich resource the others scoff about,
Denying it is potent in its way.So come on in – and open up your hearts
And minds, and souls, and strengths, to
Uses they have never had before –For it’s indeed your lucky day – for you
Have won the lottery by picking up your
Ticket – that is all –And you can feel acceptable, no
Special rules excluding who you are – or
Hidden little subtleties, the fine print of
Society, which says, “You are not one of us –
So take a hike – it’s all a big mistake”.Welcome, friend.
