"Kaleidoscopic Life" [Module # 77] (Matthew 18:3-5; Mark 10:15;9:37; Luke 18:17; 9:48)
When all is said and done, my friends,
It’s rocket science (not) that ends
Up being what is key to life –
It’s grace that carries us through strife.Like now – the call to chat with doc,
In light of tests, and walk the walk,
As we go forward day by day
Up from the basement – hopeful stay –As life moves forward, and the throng
Of folks around us hum each song,
As turn comes around to play their game
Of life in laughter in His name. So, what of life here on this beach?
Kaleidoscopic change for each
Of us? “As children in His name,
Live out your lives – accept as sane.”And that’s not rocket science, see –
It’s life as basic entity,
Reliant on the God of grace –
Inventor of the human race.So why should we reject and spurn
The other kids, with whom we learn
To be a part of body life –
Graced daily through this bit of strife? Thanks, Lord, for gracing us each day,
Along this somewhat narrow way
Of doing life here “In Your name” –
With front-row popcorn – as we came –Into this world – quite clear and bare;
Without a worry, struggle, care,
Except to be a child of grace –
Help us to live as this we face.Lord, you see now what’s up ahead –
If here or there one will be dead
To life here on this planet earth,
As we have been since given birth –Into this life of wonder, awe –
Freed up to live beyond the law
Which carried us to feel the need
Of grace – humility – in-deed.Thanks Lord for this.
