The 'Chasing Info' Stage Of Change
I need to know the way ahead of me;
I need to learn what options there can be;
Thirst for the truth which other people know –
Questions abound before this crop I sow.What kinds of seed have you found best to plant?
How ’bout the stones and weeds here on my land?
Some of this soil is packed down like cement,
Can I succeed, and will I be content?What of my past, can any past be saved?
Must I look back and view the mess I've made?
What of my friends, and kinship ties now cut?
Is there still time to move on from this rut?Questions emerge – so much for me to learn;
Options galore, new life for which I yearn;
Fresh still my past, its pain still brings me tears,
Will it subside or faster on for years?I need to walk with other folks who know,
Who've gone before, they guide my feet below;
Help me stand up, and start out yet again,
Filling my mind with hope amidst my pain.Questions abound and answers fast emerge –
Sweep o'er my mind like sea's refreshing surge;
So much I've missed as I pursued my past –
Such great resource, good options rise at last.Then comes the day I can't absorb more thought;
Too full my mind, solutions which I've sought;
I want to try what most appeals to me,
Work out a way so better life can be.So knowledge shifts to wisdom as I walk;
Some options fade from me as idle talk;
Not all at once – I choose one concept now,
Let's try it out – could you please show me how?navigation
