Inversion
“Inversion”, which is plain to see –
It differs quite, it seems to me
From “life imploded”, which was seen
To be the case in what has been.I saw that clearly in my art,
In this I see a different part –
Black smudges here and there all right,
But mostly culture-blocks in sight.The role of photos through the years
Is clear enough through joy and tears;
As well the walls and blockages
Which I found blocked my passages.But as my path wound back again,
And overlapped initial pain,
I find it now diverges north
To giver-land, and gate, of course.But then I saw inverted roles,
As we together onward strolled –
There's need to set that back to rights
Lest we encounter future fights.But even more I see again
A truth that hit me once in pain:
“Enough of Herod's in us all
To kill the Christ-child when He's small –“If we could only info find
Where he abides”– that's brought to mind –
For talking gives addresses out
And baby-killers are about.“En-guard”, indeed! How lax of me
To let King Herod baby see;
Perhaps I'd best shut up my mouth,
And tend the task which I'm about.Now that's a different way to live,
For mouth of mine is like a sieve;
Encourager’s quite yappy are –
Too bad, with Herod not so far.But parables the Word convey
(In photographic form today);
Those who have eyes and ears perceive
The truth of Christ and him believe.So, talking ‘photographic’ words
That Spirit-messages be heard,
Is what this language-school today
Is all about – “Speak Photo-way”.navigation
