Small

'Tis small, the task that I take on,
Just like the art this week, now done;
It matters not the big display –
I get to live another day.

“Sometimes”, she said, “when we work small
It brings out best within us all;
I want you to go small tonight
And watch emerge what's pure delight”.

We did – and quite amazing that –
Now as I look ahead at fact
That things could still go south for me
Before I’d wish, (I'd not be pleased).

However, small is beautiful,
And tighter time makes wonder-full;
Or can, if we now tailor life
To rise above all present strife.

First steps upon this journey are
Quite halting; watching distant star
I walk ahead, feel strength return
As bridge to land of fear I burn.

But best of all I walk with you
Into this strange land, somewhat new;
Like back at first, in Sandy days –
For troubled times, there will be Grace.
