Life's A Beach
Life is a beach and then we die –
Thus says the Scripture from on high;
For Moses-like, we hit a wall
Of water, stone, or desert's squall.We pause and ask, “Have You ‘Plan-B’?”
“Sit still, My child, My ways you'll see;
Just raise your rod and take a step;
Know this – you ain't seen nothin’ yet.“But you must make the first move, son;
All eyes on you – so just move on
And they will follow in your path,
Till all have crossed the sea at last.“I'll be your rear-guard, just move on;
The son has risen, now's the dawn;
Through you my power will go forth;
Just cross the sea and head due North.”So yes, life has its beach for all
Where we come up against some wall,
While wolf’s behind in close pursuit –
Throws even Moses for a loop.Stand by and watch Your glory, Lord?
Stake all on hearing of your word?
When on the beach, Your word's release
For us, as You in fame increase.navigation
