The Money Boat

Once there was a money boat which plied the rocky shores,
It cruised along with gunnels low as owner gathered ‘more’;
Then came the stormy weather with waves which rose up high
The owner saw the danger, – tossed cargo with a sigh.

In time the storm abated and life resumed its pace,
The owner of then reflected his role in human race;
“What e'er my role from here on” he said with thoughtful grin,
“I'd better keep my load light, or sink I'll do, and swim”.
