Engaging Power [Prov.1:1-7]

Most people are wary of power that’s great,
They skirt ’round its edges and chances don’t take;
When surf’s up in ocean they leave to the pros
Such playing with power – just dabble their toes.

We all handle toasters but not Hydro lines;
When storms topple trees breaking wires it is time
To stay well away from such sizzle and snap,
Lest it whip around giving power we lack.

The Shaman of old plays with power unseen –
The shaking of tents is a sign there has been
A movement of spirit, a bit of a dance,
Most fear crossing Shamen when they have a chance.

The purpose of Proverbs (Chap. one: one to seven)?
The rules of engagement with power from heaven;
If you play with power but guidance don’t take,
You’ll likely get swamped, sizzled, swayed, as your fate.
