The Things a Perciever Notices Most Quickly

The Basic Issue

To turn on their minds, just ask them a question. They cannot stand an unanswered question. If they can't come up with an answer in about 4.2 seconds, all their being focuses in like a laser until they burn through to an answer

Once they have uttered their answer, however, they often literally cannot repeat what they have said. It is as if they dissipate their focus immediately upon stating the answer to questions placed in front of them. I have learned to ask them questions with pencil in hand so I can grasp their, often cryptic, answers on he first take.

Some perceivers I know report that, in examining a situation, they compare the situation to some larger principle and look for a discrepancy between the two.

Perceivers used to be quite intimidating to me because I thought they perceived "truth". Then I learned that they do not see truth, they see clearly, and crave truth. All truth is clear, but not all that is clear is true. Sometimes it is easy to confuse clarity and truth. Sometimes a perceiver can see an aspect of a situation clearly, and believes it is what is really going on. That is not always the case. No human being has a corner on the truth.
